Pacific Rim Rejected Poster Ideas

In preparation for seeing Pacific Rim this weekend, I drew a number of “rejected poster ideas”

This next one was finger painted in the theater right before the movie.

After this, I made a “rejected sequel poster” for “Pooch-cific Rim”

P.S. oh, and a review? I loved the movie – really fun, and great in IMAX 3D.

What’s with the no comics lately damian?

new book
Well it has been pretty busy lately…I am putting together a new FULL COLOUR 64 page dorkboy comics book containing selected Skully, Kernel Corn and Sketchbook Comics!

Due for release at the Calgary Expo in June!
I received a proof copy in the mail the other day, and it is looking good, just a few more things to tighten up and more details will be released on that soon enough my pretties!

Also, I have been busy with work, and was a-traveling to Germany, Sweden and England last week…

New sketches…now with more letters!

I’ve made a handful of new sketches lately on the ipad using Sketchbook Pro, as well as a few drawings made with TypeDrawing.

(The Skully, Kernel Corn and Peater the black eyed pea drawings are made with Type Drawing using only text to draw with, and the rest with Sketchbook Pro)
